Italian Recycled Fabric: A Legacy of Excellence
Our Matia Aesthetics collection features fine recycled Italian fabrics sourced from one of the oldest fabric manufacturers in Italy. Renowned for their commitment to quality and innovation, this legendary manufacturer brings centuries of expertise to our sustainable swimwear line. Each piece in the Matia Aesthetics collection is crafted from these luxurious fabrics, ensuring both style and durability.
In this collection, we use a garment developed for beach and sportswear that adapts perfectly to the body's movements and is made from 100% recycled nylon fibers (82% POLYAMIDE / 18% ELASTANE) from pre- and post-consumer waste. With a material weight of 170 g/m, this fabric is highly elastic and retains its shape even after prolonged use and multiple washes. We were looking for a material that would support an active lifestyle without sacrificing our ethical beliefs, and this material combines both perfectly for MATIA.

Our fabrics are free from harmful “forever chemicals,” such as PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances), which are often found in conventional textiles and can pose health and environmental risks.
