Shipping Provider
We ship with Hermes and Deutsche Post. For every shipping method, you'll receive a tracking number so you can follow your delivery.
Shipping Insurance
All parcels are insured. Should a parcel go missing in transit, we'll take care of resolving it with the carrier.
Shipping Costs for Germany
The prices shown on our product pages include statutory VAT. In addition, we charge a flat shipping rate of €3.95 per order for deliveries within Germany.
Shipping Costs for the EU
For deliveries to other EU countries, we charge a flat shipping rate of €10 per order.
Shipping Costs for the Free Trade Zone
For deliveries to European Free Trade Association countries outside the EU (e.g. Switzerland, Norway), we charge a flat shipping rate of €20 per order.
Shipping Costs for the Rest of the World
For deliveries outside the EU, we charge a flat rate of €30 per order. This covers shipping and the administrative cost of preparing customs documentation. It does not cover any import duties charged in the destination country, which remain the recipient's responsibility.
Shipping Issues
Please understand that there are some countries where we can't guarantee your order will arrive. For deliveries outside the EU, the prices shown do not include VAT, and additional import duties or handling fees may apply in the destination country. Please check your local shipping and customs regulations before placing your order.
Order Weight
A Matia product weighs between 100 and 200 grams, with packaging adding a further 100 grams. A typical order usually comes in under 1 kg.
Delivery Time
We want to get your order to you as quickly as possible. As a small team, we can't always guarantee lightning-fast processing, especially during busy periods — thank you for your understanding. Your order will be shipped within 5 business days of payment being received. The exact delivery time depends on the shipping provider and your destination country.
Returns
You can return items within 30 days of receipt. You're responsible for the direct cost of the return shipment and any related customs clearance costs. However, we cover the shipping costs if you received a faulty or defective item — just get in touch with us. Refunds are processed within 14 business days.
Conditions for Return
Items must be returned in their original condition — unworn, unwashed, and with all tags attached. For hygienic reasons, the hygiene seal must remain intact and in place. Items returned with a removed or damaged hygiene seal cannot be accepted, and no refund will be issued.
