Founded in 2016, MATIA Beachwear is defined by care, quality and authenticity and by a deep respect for the people and places behind every piece.

Today, MATIA is brought to life by a small, dedicated team united by the desire to keep learning and improving. Every collection is the result of close collaboration between skilled makers, detail-driven minds and visual storytellers.

From carefully selected materials and considered craftsmanship to an uncompromising attention to fit, every element is shaped with intention. Together with the photographers, models and creatives who share our vision, we transform an idea into a feeling and bring the world of MATIA to life.

We create pieces for sun-seeking dreamers. Minimal in colour, flattering in shape and designed to be worn, loved and lived in far beyond a single season. What began with swimwear has grown into a carefully curated world of versatile essentials for slow mornings, salty days and everything in between.

As an independent, founder-led brand, we are constantly learning and evolving. Every decision is made with care and intention, from the materials we choose and the quantities we produce to the people we work with.
